The Migration and Society Research Unit (URMIS) at University of Paris-Diderot, visit REMESO in May
A group of researchers from the Migration and Society Research Unit (URMIS) at University of Paris-Diderot, will visit REMESO on May 18-19.
for a joint workshop "European Challenges of Migration and Integration: The Cases of France and Sweden".
URMIS is a national research center, much like REMESO: a profiled, distinguished and crtitical milieu based at the Diderot University in Paris and the Sophia Antinopolis-University in Nice.
The workshop starts on wednesday the 18th with attendance of all participants at the REMESO guest seminar with Professor Mladina Tlostanova's - "New faces of the global coloniality and the dead-end of the external imperial difference" at 10.15 in room B533, Bomullsspinneriet, Campus Norrköping. In the Afternoon the workshop "European Challenges of Migration and Integration: The Cases of France and Sweden" ensues. It starts at 1 pm in "Utsikten" in Kåken hus, Campus Norrköping.
The workshop will continue on Thursday 10 am, at the same venue. There will be a follow-up workshop in Paris this coming fall, organized by our Paris colleagues.
